Electronic signature — legally binding (CO art. 14)
The risks. Ice skating carries a risk of falling, collision and injury, including when instructions are followed. I take part in Skate Connect lessons of my own free will, aware of those risks.
My fitness. I am fit to practise this activity, I am not aware of any medical contraindication, and I undertake to tell my coach of any health condition, treatment or injury that affects my practice.
Instructions. I undertake to follow the rink rules and the coach's safety instructions, and to wear the protective equipment they consider necessary.
My insurance. I hold private civil liability insurance and health and accident cover. Skate Connect does not insure participants against their own bodily injury.
In an emergency. I authorise the coach to call the emergency services and to arrange any medical care the emergency requires, should I not be in a state to decide.
What this document does not do. It neither excludes nor limits the liability of Skate Connect or its coaches for gross negligence or wilful misconduct: Swiss law forbids it (art. 100 para. 1 CO). It records that I take part aware of the ordinary risks of the activity.
Authorisation. As legal guardian, I authorise my child to take part in the skating lessons and sports coaching organised by Skate Connect.

Before and after the lesson. The coach supervises during the lesson and on the ice. Bringing my child and collecting them outside that time is my responsibility.
